I, too, was a little nervous when I saw Fiji's beautiful backbend in the intro and thought this class might be too advanced for me. But I decided to be brave and see where it took me. I was able to keep up with the postures for the most part (though sometimes fell a little behind) and felt very open and expansive at the end. Loved the music, outdoor setting and Fiji's inspirational message. Many thanks.

One question concerning Wheel Pose: I have sensitivity on the inside of one of my wrists so Wheel Pose is a challenge. I wonder if making fists for stability upon lifting would be a bad idea...?

I am glad you enjoy the class and come away with that wonderful expansive feeling which is the intention behind this class! For wrists I suggest using a yoga prop similar to gofit push up bars, this type of prop is great for any pose with wrist flexion and is easy to buy on amazon. Hope it helps!

I will definitely look into the prop! Appreciate you taking the time to reply. Many thanks.

Would gel pads not work? Yoga Jellies or something like that? I'm guessing you recommended the bars to help strengthen the wrists and jellies may only cushion...? Thanks again.

After a challenging day at work this class was the perfect stress reliever. I feel like I have genuinely let go of lots of tension and have pushed myself physically. Thank you for another great class Fiji.

I love this class as much as I love every other Fiji class. However, even though I have been flexible in my back ever since I can remember, sometimes I feel funny in the head (like my blood pressure suddenly goes down) while doing some standing back bends. What am I doing wrong?

I was a little afraid when I saw the opening sequence. But this was exactly the right amount of challenge. And, this sets a goal to work my way up to Fiji's advanced version of the class. I have been needing to challenge myself more and the pace of the class was fast enough to achieve that. I look forward to doing this class again.
Peace,
Becky
