Thank you so much for this! I'm fairly new to yoga, but chose to start with this intermediate class because so often beginner-level classes just don't interest or challenge me enough. Well, your very clear and inspiring commentary made me realise that I am not at all intermediate yet, but you also sowed the seeds of me realising that this is nothing to worry about and I will get there eventually! Now I'm going to start the beginner's 30-day course instead :) but look forward to more of your teaching when I'm ready for it. Big big Namaste.
Thank you for sharing this practice with us! I got out of the habit of practicing yoga - it is easy to fall into the hustle and bustle of daily life. I have recently began a new chapter in my life and have made it a priority of mine to bring yoga back into the forefront. I love the gentle (yet difficult) core work. It is a reminder of the strength I have lost over time.
I have been dealing with chronic pain for almost five years. As a young adult this has been very frustrating for me and a tough aspect of my life that affects nearly every other part of my life. This was a good introduction and with the modifications I was able to appreciate everything that my body IS able to do. The ending was very peaceful and to be grateful for what my body CAN do and to allow myself time to heal and get stronger is what I needed to hear. I look forward to continuing the thirty day journey and cannot wait to see what my body can eventually do. One day at a time, one breath at a time. Thank you.
