If you have taken some time away from yoga, whether it's due to an injury or other life event, this is a great class to get you going once again. Fiji slows down the typical pace of her class to spend time re-establishing yoga principles while moving you through a fun, dynamic vinyasa class.

I recently injured my lower back and not being able to practice my yoga has been depressing. I have to admit that I tried this course before I was fully healed. I made it up to the point where we used the block between our thighs in the forward fold. Up to that pose it felt good to work on my core, as my lower back needed that support, but the rest was bringing me pain. After that I turned to a supported child's pose. I can't wait to be able to complete this course and I am very thankful that it exists!
If anyone else is experiencing lower back pain, though, I would suggest sticking to more restorative yoga practices , and waiting to heal fully before trying this course.

I injured my hamstring two months ago and have had to give up so many aspects of what I love to do. This class was perfect to ease my way back and it feels so good to be moving again!

Im fairly "new" to yoga but I have a decent amount of flexibility and enjoy a bit of a challenge, so I turned to an intermediate video for my home pratise. This video was PERFECT to teach me how to do proper alignment, to remind me to engage my muscles, and to really get the most out of my time on the mat. I definitely felt a good burn in the legs and core from working my weak muscles! Fiji is hands down the best instructor on this site!

I am relatively new to Vinyasa but enjoy Fiji's classes very much (both the poses I can and can't do). This is a great class both as a welcome back after a break but also for newbies like me as the pace is a bit slower and there is focus on alignment that is clear and encouraging.
