Ashtanga Yoga Full Primary Series
This is the ashtanga yoga full primary series in its traditional form, taught and counted by Jeff Lichty. If you have never seen or done the full primary series, you may want to watch this video in its entirety first. This is an advanced class that pushes even the advanced yoga student. It moves quickly and demands great strength, flexibility, focus and a knowledge of the sanskrit names. It would also help to do this class in full with someone in person before following this video.

A very very deep stretch with lot of relief and flex poses. My body feels so great and my joints are much more smooth after this class. Thank you so much for the clear instructions and reminders to breath in and out for each pose
I wanted to buy the audio of the full primary series for when I'm off line, but it seems only the half series is available. Am I missing something? It's a fantastic practice!
This was an awesome class. I've done it a couple times now, and I've developed some of my own modifications that keep me safe while helping me progress toward the fullest expression of a pose. Thank you for your hard work and careful instructions.
I would also love to see some intermediate videos. What if you broke down this class into sections (sun salutations, twists, floor work, lotus series, etc) and described the proper alignment in each pose as well as modifications (like you did in your beginner videos but more systematically). Or you could create Mysore-method style videos for each pose that break down each posture individually, allowing us to begin to approach Ashtanga yoga the way you did.
Great class! Even though I am new to Ashtanga I could still follow along with many modifications. Definitely need more intermediate classes as this one is extremely challenging. Please bring some!
