Ashtanga Yoga for Beginners
If you are new to ashtanga yoga, this is where you want to begin. Please note that this is still a tough class, very similar to an intermediate power yoga flow. The difference between this class and a regular ashtanga class is that the pace is a bit slower and Jenni takes the time to explain the poses in more detail.

I have been practicing for several years now. I have practiced Power Yoga in a heated room, but once my home practice started to solidify, I introduced Ashtanga. The pace is good, suggestions to use blocks is appreciated and I loved the counting in Sanskrit. I will use this practice for a few weeks before moving to the half primary series.
I loved how difficult this was. It wasn't impossible to do, but really challenged me in a way that was beneficial. I look forward to doing this practice again tomorrow!
I have my first group ashtanga class coming soon and this was a great introduction. Thank you so much, I feel wonderful and confident in many of the poses that I thought I wouldn't be able to do. Thank you for your awesome explanation of poses and patience.
So very glad I read the description that called this still a difficult class. I may not have tried this class as it said Beginners Ashtanga. I have been doing Power Vinyasa Flows for about 4 years and I would definitely not classify this as an easy class.
Many many vinyasas. But I love Vinyasas so it was ideal for me.
I appreciated the detail that Jenni gives to every pose.
Many of the ways she gets into poses were different for me and that is a good thing.
All in all, if you're looking for something invigorating, educating, and different this is a good class to take.
Thanks Jenni !
