This class is meant to be a part of a series that you can see in our program Establish Your Core Stability and Strength and on our Yoga for Beginners page. This class shows you what a full-length class feels like when you put a lot of emphasis on core stability throughout. As we said in the earlier classes, the intention is to feel light as you do yoga, maintaining a slow, deep breath, while attempting to balance effort and release in everything that you do.

Equipment: Strap, Block
Style: Hatha Yoga, Yoga for Athletes, Yoga for Runners, Yoga for Seniors, Yoga for Back Care

Wow, that was difficult but great workout. Using muscles we have forgotten about. Wondering why you clapped your hands David. Were you trying to get someones attention? LOL

Some wonderful streches for the legs and hips. David's calm instruction all the way through. I really enjoyed this one.

Wow this one was tough! I think I have really tight hamstrings and I can't bend my torso much while keeping my spine straight so a lot of the motions were really difficult for me, especially those with the strap and stretches where I have to keep my legs straight while moving my torso around. Despite that, I feel much better physically; I noticed when I was sitting in shavasana at the end I was very angry at myself for not being able to do the motions, so I really was able to calmly note that rather than further berate myself.

This is one of my all time favorite classes. Everything about it is perfect, other than an editing error at 44:35. I do not know if you can still go back an fix it, but that would be fantastic as the error is rather jarring. Thank you for all you do.

I have been doing this for years and could never understand why David was hitting something. Being in the moment I never looked to see exactly what was going on. Thanks for clearing that up for me! Namaste.

Wow, I'm surprised that was missed after so many years! I'll see what we can do. Thanks for pointing that out.

Beautiful and deeply healing. I am rehabbing a hip injury during the Corona virus. Since I cannot see my PT, this is a great way to keep healing my hip. Thank you David!
