Retreat Description

Complete your YTT training and become a DoYogaWithMe Certified Yoga Teacher! In this final, Level 3 Retreat, you will receive the guidance of one or two DoYogaWithMe faculty to help you integrate everything you have learned in Level 1 and 2, giving you the practical skills that you will need as you learn to teach yoga carefully and effectively in a safe, fun and supportive environment.

The culmination of our work will include lessons in asana, integrative practices, practice teaching, sequencing, ethics and the philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita.

Note: This retreat is the final level of a 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. It's highly recommended that you complete Level 1 and 2 before registering.

Elohee Center

The perfect place to host a retreat, Elohee consists of 2 separate retreat facilities. This retreat will held be at the beautiful Bald Mountain Center which boosts incredible scenery of its surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Blue Ridge Mountains have various ecosystems - From its barren ridges to its berdant valleys to mountain peaks. The facilities showcase these diverse energies. Each building provides engagement of a particular aspect of Nature. This spiritual partnership aids in personal transformation and growth.

The Forest Studio

Be in touch with the natural world at the Forest Studio. Surrounded on all three sides by trees and plenty of natural lighting, this 600 square foot studio is perfectly suited for smaller retreats or simply a getaway. Located within a 5-minute walk from the other amenities on Bald Mountain, the Forest Studio is still far enough that if you listen closely, you may hear the beautiful, softer sounds of Nature.

The Tea House

The Tea House is available 24 hours for everyone. This warm and cozy room is a community space full of natural lighting and is a short walking distance from the other amenities on Bald Mountain. The Tea House brings people together to connect and create new friendships. You are also welcomed to enjoy your favorite tea with a friend or put your feet up, relax and enjoy your own company. Whichever it is, this space is the ideal place to unwind.

The Spa and Gift Shoppe

You will find Elohee’s Spa and Gift Shoppe located in a corner of the mountain beyond the pond. Treat yourself to a relaxing massage in one of Elohee's three massage rooms or purchase a memorable item from the Gift Shoppe, both located within the same cottage.

Important: The Spa and Gift Shoppe are open only to Elohee retreat participants during scheduled retreats. All spa appointments must be made in advance and vary from 60 or 90 minutes in length. To request a spa treatment during your retreat, please fill out this form.

The Fire Ring

The Fire Ring sits at the apex of Bald Mountain. Elohee invites all to gather here in community, with story-telling, celebration or drumming. It is actually the first structure built on this hilltop and has become a special place of spiritual transformation and connection.

Fire has varied representations. From light, transformation, new beginnings and beauty. The Fire Ring is a tribute to its founding family, whose vision saw its creation as they came to a place of restoration after a difficult journey.

This is the place Elohee was born.

Food

The Dining Hall

Elohee understands the importance of good nutrition. That’s why Elohee aims to provide gorgeous buffet-style meals that feed the mind and body using organic and locally grown ingredients as much as possible. Some meals include seafood, chicken or turkey and a variety of dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, omnivore, and pescatarian can be accommodated.

Bringing people together, Elohee’s Dining Hall seats up to forty guests comfortably and includes a gorgeous outdoor patio section furnished with sunshades and heating lamps.

Accommodations

Bald Mountain Cottages

Fitting up to 50 overnight visitors, the Bald Mountain Center includes 7 cottages (Azalea, Beech, Camellia, Dogwood, Eucalyptus, Fern, and Goldenrod) with 6 rooms in each for lodging (1 king bedroom with a private bath, 1 room with 2 twin beds and a private bath and 4 single rooms with a twin bed and shared bath), 2 meeting spaces, a communal tea house, gift shop and spa, as well as numerous natural amenities.

No matter which room, each include air conditioning, heat, ceiling fans, and adjustable shades. Along with some customized crafted decor from the founders and close family.

Those who are feeling extra adventurous, Elohee also offers tent camping!

The Thanksgiving House

The next facility, Thanksgiving House, is best suited for smaller and more private groups. Overlooking a gorgeous waterfall and swimming pool, this hidden gem is nestled in a Rich Cove Forest niche and can sleep up to 14 visitors in its 6 bedrooms.

How To Get There

Located in the mountains of northeast Georgia, Elohee Center is about 90 miles west of Greenville, SC and 90 miles north of metro Atlanta.

Note: For retreats that will be taking place on Bald Mountain, there is a secure parking lot at the bottom of the mountain where participants can leave their cars and be shuttled to their cottage for the retreat.

Cancellation Policy

Please see the below cancellation policy for this retreat:

  • If cancellation is made more than 2 weeks in advance of arrival the deposit is refundable, less a $100 cancellation fee. The $100 cancellation fee goes to Elohee.
  • If cancellation is made less than 2 weeks, but more than 1 week in advance of arrival, the deposit is non-refundable and 40% of tuition goes to facilitator.
  • If cancellation is made less than 1 week in advance of arrival, registrant is responsible for payment of the entire retreat amount with no refund.

Important: Deposit of 40% of total retreat fee is due upon booking.

Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is the closest. A previous facilitator said that travel from Atlanta is easy and recommends that out of towners rent a car and allow plenty of time to drive from ATL airport. A shuttle or Uber are available and easy to use as well.
