I have a question - at about 12 minutes you move from a lunge to a pose with the front leg straightened, to have both legs more or less straight in a triangle with fingers on the floor. I can't do this - yet! I can only straighten my front leg if I bring my fingers off the ground. My question is whether I should keep my fingers on the ground and work slowly towards straightening my front leg, or straighten my leg and work slowly towards bring my fingers back towards the ground? Thanks for your help and for all the great classes!

Hi Ryan,

Thank you for asking! It would be a better approach to use a block or place your hand lightly on your shin, getting the leg as straight as you can each time you visit this pose. With our hamstrings it is important to be gently yet consistant. To create repeated opportunities to find space in this part of the body but to let the tension unravel over time. One millimeter at a time.

I liked exploring poses that I have never seen before - and maybe will never be able to actually do! Nicely paced class with extra attention spent on side-opening, all leading towards one super-pretzel pose...But don't be daunted - Fiji offers modifications all the way and encourages you to find your own personal edge.

Wow! I am already feeling stronger as I attempt some of the poses that have become familiar over the course of eight days-- and I laughed as I attempted some of the twistier and more difficult poses introduced in this class! Looking forward to continued improvement and encountering these poses again

Awesome class. My bunny looked rather funny, but its progress. I find Hero pose uncomfortable on my knees, so I tend to start class sitting on a block instead of on the ground. Seems to take the stress off the joint. Thanks for the series, its great.
