"Yin yoga is my favorite type of yoga. I feel like a noodle when it's over. This video is very good. "
"I really enjoyed this. Usually I do something with a flow and more intensity but I was tired and decided after 12 sun salutations to do this and was blown away!! I highly recommend this! Namaste. "

"I enjoyed the stretching combined with the binds and twists to deepen the stretches. I especially found the quadriceps stretches especially helpful as I don't find I get many quad stretches in my normal classes. I liked that the progression was directly from sun salutations to the rest of the instruction as in my Ashtanga practice. I did this class within 30 minutes of waking and found my joints to tight to take full advantage of the stretches. It will be a great exercise to de anytime after work when my not so young joints are a bit more loose. Thanks again for a great offering. Namaste "

"I found your website about a week ago through YogaYak had intended to try one of your classed for the first time today and was delighted to find a 75 minute class. It was challenging and had a flow that worked up a sweat. The step by step verbal cues are essential to an online class in my opinion or I spend to much time craning you neck trying to see what's going on and loose the focus to stay present on my mat. a 5 or 6 day a week practice is expensive and travel time takes up much of my day or evening. If I can practice once or twice at home it will be a great help so I thank you for a great class. "

"Very nice session. Thanks for posting this. Very happy to join you.. I was struggling to find myself time for exercise. These online sessions are very helpful now i can do yoga as per my convenience. Would try to follow everyday and would try other video once i am comfortable with this. We don't have any session targeting weight loss. Kindly suggest if we have any. Its a pleasure joining you !! "

"I was the same at first... sore after doing yin yoga. But it didn't take long, maybe 3 weeks of doing it once a week, for that to go away. I'm thankful I did, because I really believe that yin is the main reason I have gained so much flexibility in the last year. "
David Procyshyn commented in Yin Yoga: Sinking Into Stillness 9 years 1 month ago
"Yes, it's surprising how sore you can be after a yin yoga class, considering how passive the poses are. It's simply because you hold the poses for so long. The muscles, if you haven't been doing yin, aren't used to that. Over time, though, they will adapt and you will be fine. "
"Thanks for taking the time to write, Jordan. Let us know how the site helps you and what we can do to make your experience even better. "
"As a student, I'm constantly sitting at my desk studying. I've had back pain as well as neck pain for months now and have been searching for solutions. I've gotten massages, taken hotter showers, and tried sitting in different positions but nothing has helped. This blog entry was much needed information in order to make me feel more comfortable and be without pain when I sit down to study. Thanks for this! Can't wait to try them all out! -Jordan "

"While I found this yoga class to be relatively easy, I was surprised to find that I was really sore the next day. I guess I was doing more than I thought. A great addition to enhance your aerobic work! "

"Thankyou David for answering my problem . Yes i have numbness on my left side of the body from face to toes.It is due to cervical spondylosis. Tension aggrevates it and it never relieves .Stiffness in the right shoulder and other joints has also started which is really painfull. I am practicing your stretches and neck, shoulder and spine excercises for the beginner.Ihope i'll get rid of these awesome pains. Pls guide me Rakhshanda "
"Thank you for this meditation. I plan to use it often in my recovery. "
David Procyshyn commented in A Total Body Relaxation I 9 years 1 month ago
"Yes, we do. There are two ways to address physical numbness. One is to bring awareness to the area using meditation. The guided meditation called 'Heal Chronic Pain' would be perfect for you. Just change 'chronic pain' to 'numbness' in your head... the approach is just as effective. The other way is stretching and massage, which depends on the location and source of the numbness. So it's difficult to give advice without seeing you in person, but you can experiment with stretches around the area of the numbness. Feel free to elaborate on where you feel it and what sort of things aggravate and relieve it, and I could give you some suggestions. Take care, David "
