"This class has been so great. i have been doing it every day for the last two weeks and have had huge improvements, and a couple of big emotional releases too. i'm so happy with how much my shoulders have opened in such a short time. i still have a long way to go, though, and the length of this class, variety of exercises, and how we work the shoulders so completely will help me get there. "

"My first Yin Yoga class, I am surprised at how quickly the hour went by and even the 5 min. poses did not seem long. I enjoyed it very much. "
"The idea is to keep the breath going, slow and deep, throughout your entire practice... unless you're doing a breathing technique where you hold the breath. This keeps the body highly oxygenated, the nervous system calm and the body relatively relaxed, even when you're doing difficult poses. "

"Yes, you can gain your range of motion back through gentle movement and stretching. It would be even more helpful to receive massage once or twice a week so the muscles can soften and stretch more easily. Don't expect to progress quickly, though. Take your time, be patient and take it slowly. "
