This prenatal yoga class is designed as an alternative to the normal, slower prenatal classes that are out there. It's for moms who have a strong yoga practice and have not lost that strength or stamina in the first trimester of their pregnancy. The poses are modified for a pregnant body so a mom to be can flow without worrying if the pose is on the "allowed" list.

Really great. I did all of Fiji's prenatal classes by each trimester. Mad respect to her for filming them while pregnant, it really hits different to have the instructor in the same stage of pregnancy you are. One thing I will say is you may have to modify poses depending on how your particular pregnancy works with your body, but that's the idea for any yoga practice anyway. Also: they're not kidding when they say you should have an existing yoga foundation. This is meant to make you sweat! Try other instructors if you're looking for the really slow and gentle stuff.

Ever since I’ve been pregnant I’ve been feeling so nauseous and poorly... really not myself. Today I felt stronger and stepped onto the mat with Fiji and it was like a homecoming. She brought me back to myself so completely. As I lay in savasana and Fiji spoke about the blessing of having the light of two lives inside me, I lay and wept. I think I’d been so consumed with feeling ill that it may have been the first time this miracle truly hit me. Bring on the nausea, I am the luckiest woman alive! Thank you Fiji. You have a beautiful soul.
