As you may know, we often ask for your feedback and suggestions for improvement, to make sure that we are creating content and adding features that you benefit from. Over the past few years, we have received quite a few requests to add closed captions to our videos, to make it easier for those who have experienced hearing loss to participate in our classes. I’m happy to announce that closed captions are now available on all of our yoga class videos.
Below are a few answers to questions you may have. If you have a question that is not included, add a comment further down.

The quick answer is that, under ideal conditions, automatic captions in spoken languages can achieve up to 98% accuracy Muffled, hard-to-understand, or otherwise compromised audio can lead to incorrect text. If you come across a class that has major transcription errors, please contact [email protected] and we will look into it.

Yes, they will appear immediately when the teacher speaks. So, as long as the teacher is cueing with good timing, the closed captions will be timed well, too.

After work, I often play the entertaining word game dordle to decompress and discover new terms. Enjoy yourself; I promise it will be intriguing.
Awesome! I'm hard of hearing, and it will also be nice to have the option to turn sound off when there's a need for quiet (eg, others are trying to sleep).
